Got a small 2 or 3" handheld radio/tv. I'd like to bring it to the stadium to check on OSU/TX during breaks. Figured it would be good hear the radio broadcast of the game, too.

Do they allow this sort of thing?

I am pretty sure they do. I bring radio with me everygame. Small MP3 with FM tuner so i can listen during game. I have seen people with handhelds before though.

GO VOLS!!!!

I'd read the ticket but I'm not the one holding them. I wont have it till I get to the stadium. Utsports doesn't mention this on their exclusion list, but I'm sure that doesn't cover everything.

I've been in my current season seats for 10 years. The gent who sits in front of me brings a small TV to each game.

I can't imagine a handheld tv not being allowed in a stadium.

Thanks for the responses. There are stadiums out there that don't allow them. Whether or not they enforce it at all is another story.

Yeah, I don't think you are supposed to bring alcohol either...

I see where you are coming from, but dumping a little bottle of jack in the trash is a bit different than having to dump my little tv or walk back to the car.

I don't think it will be problem after some responses here and some around the office.

Thanks again. Go Vols.

It won't be a problem.

I was just attempting a little humor.

I don't think you'll have any problems with it. Just don't take a backpack..

Do they not allow backpacks? My dad takes a light dufflebag to the games everytime and hasn't had a problem.

Last year they made my wife and me leave a clear backpack at the gate even after we emptied it to prove there was not contraband in it.

Where in the heck does anybody have room to take a backpack to their seat? Half the time I can't figure out where to sit a drink down.

Just always stuffed it down under my feet.

The trick is to never sit your drink down. :)

When you put something under your seat at Neyland, expect it to come back wet.

My favorite is sitting behind kids who let pom-poms touch the ground and then pick them up and shake them; not noticing that they are soaked.

I hate that. At the Cal game, I had the pleasure of sitting behind a family of 5 with 3 tickets. All their children were under the age of 5 I think. :ermm: I thought I was a jungle gym at one point during the game.

I've never had a problem saying something to the parents... they usually don't care, but the harsh words make me feel better.
