Due to the excessive traffic at the end of the regular season voting, the final week of the regular season voting was not included in the final results. As a result, Bucky Badger from Wisconsin was inadvertently placed in the playoffs. Butch T. Cougar from Washington State actually earned that spot with more total votes, and has replaced Bucky Badger in the playoffs. The final standings and ranking of the 6 mascots in the playoffs was also impacted by these server issues and the playoff match-ups have been changed to reflect the correct match-ups.
Due to this error we are clearing all votes cast to date and re-starting the playoff voting immediately. We sincerely apologize to the mascots, fans, and schools for the error.
