Just gave up a hit. I'm surprised it took this long. He was really wearing down in the 6th inning.

His stuff was unreal tonight though.

you can talk about it, you just cant call it a no hitter or no-no till its over. Call it an unmentionable or something. Jmx really blew that one.

yep, he was great but you could tell toward the end that he was wearing down and had pretty much used everything up

I'm sure Smoltz knew I posted this, and he was just emotionally done at that point.
I didn't think it was gona happen. He had thrown like 1,000 pitches before the 8th
