Might as well check out future SEC member Texas A&M

Is SMU suppose to be any good this year?

Kyle Padron is gonna be pretty dang good I'd bet.

Just looked at his numbers, pretty good.

Rivals had him as a 2* and showed that SMU was his only offer. Missouri and Yale were the only other schools on his list. Scout also had him ranked as a 2*

I feel like he could break out this year. Certainly in the system to do it.

Its easy passing in the cusa. Look at padron, davis(usm), keenum(uh), davis (ecu). Most teams are pass heavy. I havnt seen padron go up against a team like a&m so I really dunno how he will do. As far as league play I dont see why he wont throw for 4000+.

Padron should have a great year in Jones' system. I'm personally thinking SMU keeps it close all the way through if he has a good game.

Could be worse. A sophomore going up against the #1 defense/Rose Bowl champions.

Doesn't look like Dalton's numbers were anything special either that game.

14-26 174yds 1td 2int - Dalton
14-35 169yds 2td 1int - Pardon

Looks like this has potential to be a good game.

A&M's defense isn't nearly as good as TCU's was last year, or so I'd hope. They'll have a solid D, but it won't be as fantastic as the Frogs.

Of course, you can see what experience does for a defense (lack of experience did the Frogs in on Friday night, the great amount of experience will certainly help A&M this year), so we'll have to see.

Interested to see Tannehill and that offense. They will be very explosive.

If Zach Line can find holes like that with fair frequency tonight, SMU might be in business.

Another horrible throw. Overthrew a wide open receiver by a mile
