Two episodes in and I am disappointed. The stories are not sufficiently developed. The characters have little to no backstory which makes it difficult to care about their motivations and struggles. They are unremarkable... the only person I can name is Franklin. The CIA dude is trying to establish control but his character is poorly written and comes off as fake. The Mexican couple don't need the wrestler but seem compelled to make him part of their famalia. And they escalate to threatened violence prematurely at odd times. Franklin has been selling pot for a while but doesn't know to he shouldn't walk out of a club into a dark back-alley with $32,000 in his backpack? Especially after a couple of gangbangers were giving him stink eye in the club a few minutes prior. C'mon, man.

This show, so far, does nothing but illustrate the brilliance of Vince Gilligan with BB and BCS series.

Going to give it a long leash. The time period and potential storyline SHOULD be a home run...maybe purge the writers and/or showrunner?
