Obama has never struck me as a particularly intelligent person. Sure, he has educational pedigree, but so did George W. Bush, John Kerry, and Al Gore. It's not surprising that he's not capable of writing his own book, in his own words. Hillary didn't write "It Takes A Village" by herself either.

I said it during the election buildup when Ayers and Wright were in the news and I'll say it again. Had Obama been a white man these two friends and mentors would have made him unelectable in the eyes of 75 to 80% of Americans.
