So Does Gatewood get a ring too?

Since Maryland won it all last night, does Gatewood get a ring? I know she isn't allowed to play for a while since the transfer. Also MTSU has to play them first game next year, then UT. My friends daughter plays for MTSU and she is excited about playing them next year.


BTW, awesome game I almost didnt watch the 2nd half because of the 10 point lead by Duke at halftime.

Yeah its gonna be nasty, but she will be a sophmore next year so the expirence will be good. She had 6 points against Utah in the dance this year as a freshman.

Won't she have to sit out a year since she is transferring? It is pretty funny that she transferred there because she wasn't the star here, though she was the starting point guard and now she might not even be the 6th woman for Maryland.

Glad I wasn't the only one pulling for Duke for that reason...but she does get a ring she was on the roster and will be able to play this coming up December or January...she will be coming off the bench though haha

That's exactly what I was thinking! SHe left here so that she could get more PT, and now they just won the NC with a young group, that didn't include her. The best metaphor I can think of is when you're sitting in a traffic jam on the interstate... you keep swapping lanes b/c ppl are passing you in the other one, but somehow, you just keep getting passed by.
