I am over here beating my chest proudly cause we just won....This feels so amazing 3 out of the last 4 wow we're a dynasty!!

You see I live in this state and it sucks those stupid words they say are being said every 5 mins now are all you who wanted bama to win happy?? Doesn't help UT one bit not one bit except their arrogant fan base able to rub it in our faces even more :bammer:

We can sway recruits with the pitch, "come get beat by the best! Unless you're being recruited by them!"

So I guess we should hope our opponents get thrashed when they play non SEC teams, that way we can be like the Big East (Big Easy). Some of you guys want your cake and to eat it too. Some of you criticize Butch Jones for his success in "an easy conference" yet hope our competition sucks and loses to everyone so we look good. I want them to do well so when we kick their ass we're national champions instead of 13-0 screwed out of a NC Utah..

Alabama wouldn't have been able to come back from one loss and get in the national title game without the league being strong. That must be hard to understand.

Funny, the Big East is like 5 and 2 in BCS bowl games with wins over UF and UGA.

You can be happy about those two specific seasons. You're irrelevant as far as the national title goes in the other five. You won a championship what, 5 years ago? Congrats, you shouldn't be taking pleasure Alabama's run. Especially since that's the one team Florida and Urban couldn't beat.

By the way... define "your school". Did you attend Florida?

I think pulling for our rivals is stupid but for the record, Alabama winning doesn't help or hurt Tennessee one bit either.

I don't think recruiting was going to slow down or kids were going to bail because they went 2-1 over 4 seasons in the national championship.

We know you're a Notre Dame fan and that's most likely your agenda. You think people are dumb for thinking the SEC being good helps us(which is dumb) but so is thinking it would help us if Alabama had lost. They're at the top. Even with a loss, Saban still would have been the best coach in the country and Alabama would still finish top 5 in recruiting. I hate both teams and could care less who won won or loss. I would have enjoyed seeing both fans cry. Watching Lou Holtz yell at Mark May for the past month made it even easier not to care about either team. Throw in golden domers vs. mobile homers and catholics vs. cousins, screw Notre Dame. Their fan base is no better and they would have said the same stuff about us if we had been their opponent.

I am NOT a Notre Dame fan...I just don't hate the school like a lot of people on here do and have given my reasons for that

I know we as vol fans are born and breed to hate bama but I hate Notre Dame worse

To me if they had beaten bama all we would have heard from espn,NBC etc is how the sec is overrated.

I know , I know. Not a real fan. Sigh

They beat us in the '08 SEC Championship and then went on to win the NC.

I never understood the SEC chestbeaters. 14 weeks out of the year you root against every single SEC team that isn't yours, but once the bowl season starts, you're supposed to cheer for them? No thanks. If a good friend of mine wasn't such a typical ND bandwagon fan, I would have wished that ND destroyed Alabama.

Yes I did...graduated in 1990. Did you attend Tennessee?

As far as everything else you said, I respectfully disagree, and I reserve the right to change my opinion should Georgia ever achieve the level of success Alabama is currently experiencing.
