Smith landed a good jab on Harbaugh/UM earlier in the day. There's a lot of smartass/comedic potential here.

He's so insecure and sensitive it's hilarious. He always has to have the last word no matter what.

Nm, I found it. While I disagreed with his response to Butch (not because he is our coach), I did not have a problem with him saying that since he was Smith started it.

I felt Butch was more light humored, where Smith was taking shot of the fact that program has been down.

Seems Art Briles and Harbaugh have become chums. Can't say I can see what's in it for Baylor...maybe a home-n-home? Not too sure I like it. Let those cold weather Yanks find their own recruiting grounds!!!

First Briles and staff visit two Baylor 2017 commits (QB Kellen Mond and WR Jhamon Ausbon) at IMG Academy and hand out six more offers (3 for 2017 and 3 for 2018) and then Michigan holds spring camp there??? Truly a head scratcher.

Harbaugh has become in football what Trump has become in politics. Hardly anyone will admit to liking them, but nearly everyone likes to be entertained by their antics.

Harbaugh truly is a man child. I'm not sure how his school tolerates his social media nonsense.

Why did you feel the need to take a shot at Butch? It really makes you look silly since it has zero relation to the topic

That one was unnecessary, but I disagree with the bold. Most of this board's fascination with and dislike of Harbaugh stems from his Twitter beef with Butch.

Because Big 10 Football is so tough, right?

Let's see a Butch Jones Tennessee team against the likes of Rutgers, Indiana, Maryland etc....

Eh. The SEC is the best, but the idea that they're the NFL and everyone else is basically high school football is way overblown.

If you have an elite coach, your team is likely the real deal. The SEC became the best by spending money and hiring the best coaches, but now other conferences are starting to do the same.

I agree. But your comparing a SEC schedule to a weak Big 10 schedule. I'd be willing to bet nearly 99% of people would see Tennessee run that schedule the same or better than Michigan. Their only two tough conference games were at home to Sparty and Ohio State.

Probably. The Butch thing was mostly tweaking Coug because I think he's a homer. This past year's team with Michigan's schedule probably goes at least 9-3.

Plenty of non-UT fans feel the same which shows you just wanted to take the shot. Thinking he's an immature clown has nothing to do with his lacking a sense of humor when poked fun at by Butch. He's simply one of those that dish it out all the time but can't roll with it when it comes back.

I've already explained why I took the shot. Most of the non-UT fans who think he's a "clown" are Ohio State fans. I'd say that when it's "come back," he's simply dished it out some more, no? I'm not seeing how what he said is akin to throwing a temper tantrum

Probably because he won more games in Year 1 than Butch did in Year 3

Took over more talent too. :). Butch won MORE GAMES in year 1 than Harbaugh did at Stanford YEAR 1. :wink2:

We've already had our much less successful version of Harbaugh back in 2009. And a great deal of the fan base bought into it. Some Got More into it than others.

If Harbaugh were at UT a majority of us would be in love with his antics and ribbing people. He's an outstanding coach, and even before that Twitter deal I had this feeling UT and Michigan maybe embarking on a new rivalry. I hope so anyways. I knew the Citrus Bowl was not realistic last year, but damn I wanted Michigan.
