So at the beginning of the season, I posted on VN about a bet that I had with a friend who thought Kentucky would not only have a better season than UT but would also beat them when they play at the end of the season. So he and I made a bet on it. And since the best Kentucky can do now is tie with UT's record (if they win out and we lose out), I've already won the bet.

What were the terms? A surprise gift of some sort regarding our favorite teams. And he just emailed me two tickets to the Vandy game.

I am a happy Vol camper.

He is actually a Michigan fan. He just thought UK would do better with their new coach than UT would do with ours...especially with the spread offense.

Yeah so your buddy's an idiot for thinking Kentucky would ever have a better season than UT, no matter how bad UT is. No offense.

So what would you have gotten him had you lost, then?

Anytime he spouts off about Kentucky's program, just say this: "Stoops poops."

Most people consider tied record with a head to head win a better season. He conceded a game early.
