So much for finding an impartial Debate Moderator

What gets me is that the moderators get to pick the questions. Seems like they would have a panel do that instead of one person.

I can't wait to see how the Obama camp tries to spin it after Sarah makes Biden and the moderator look like the whiny school children they really are.

If Sarah does that, I'll wear a dress. Seriously, if she comes away without getting blown out of the arena, it'll be a victory for the McCain camp.

Expectations are so low at this point that as long as both candidates show up they will both declare victory and move on.

Gwen Ifill Breaks Ankle, But Still Plans To Meet 'Em In St. Louis - mediabistro.com: TVNewser

First On TVNewser: PBS' Gwen Ifill has broken her ankle after tripping and falling down stairs at her home last night, a NewsHour insider tells TVNewser. We're told Ifill had been walking up a staircase, carrying research related to her moderating duties at Thursday's Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, when she took a wrong step.

We are also told the show will go on: Ifill is planning to travel to Missouri for the big event.

There's a joke in here somewhere.

This lady stands to make money off her book if Obama gets elected. How does anyone not see a huge problem with this?

It certainly doesn't give the appearance of being impartial does it?

Although I will say this book is about African American politicians in general and not just about Obama. Still it does not pass the sniff test.

this woman is going to be the moderator for the vp debate. she has a book coming out praising obama on the date the president is going to be sworn in. seems like a conflict of interest.

she's betting on obama winning so her book will sell.

Who does this book seem to focus on?

Amazon.com: The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama: Gwen Ifill: Books

And I guarantee his face is stamped on the front.
