and we pissed it away last night. A great shot at the playoffs, tons of national attention & all the positive benefits that come with it, momentum on the recruiting trail and an energized fan base. Just no excuse for such a pathetic showing. Could very well cost us a few crucial recruits. I predicted three losses before the season but never dreamed two of them would be to South Carolina & possibly vandy. If the team doesn't rebound with authority this thing could get very ugly quick.

I would not put too much stock into last night. TN ran into the perfect storm, USC got embarrassed last week by FL, Rattler played the game of his life, and the Vols were flat and clearly Hooker was off his game.
