The whole Pruitt debacle took a little over two years and that was with UT basically doing the NCAAs investigation for them.

The Michigan case, I could see all kinds of stalling and shenanigans

I'll go June 2027 as when the final hammer comes down on Michigan and the title gets stripped.

Anybody else wanna hazard a guess?

willing to bet Michigan never recognizes any NCAA penalty requiring them to vacate the title. I could see them vacating some wins, however long that LB coach was there, but anything after they are going to keep. no matter what the NCAA does.

If Harbaugh leaves it's over and nothing will come of it.

Edit: I actually think nothing will come of it whether he stays or goes. The NCAA isn't going to vacate a title and delegitimize the playoffs.

Yep. Remember the UNC basketball scandal? Fake classes. What came of that? Syracuse? And this might not be right, but I don't recall seeing how things turned out with Wade at LSU. There's a distinct class system....just like in politics. 2 sets of rules.

The NCAA can vacate wins, but they cannot vacate the title. That is controlled by the CFP. The NCAA has no effect on the CFP.

They won’t. They won the national title and went 15-0 we all witnessed it nothing will change that. Did the NCAA do anything to Kansas and UNC in basketball? Michigan is a blue blood and sits at the high table of college football nothing will happen to them.

There will be an asterisk by their record & they will always be remembered as the sign stealin' squad.

Still yet to learn the fate of Harbaugh and the notice of allegations has yet to drop.

When that happens I think people will not look back fondly on this Michigan team.

That could all change if Harbaugh returns. We will see...

Nothing will happen. If it were us, we would get hammered. Michigan is a blue blood that groups like ESPN love. The fact they even played the NC game is a complete farce. The college football playoffs are officially a joke.

I really doubt if Michigan will EVER vacate.
