Well, it's not really about YOU. Taylor Smart said he was "crushed" in the post game radio interview. Dave Serrano said his decision to go with Lee as a the closer would be second guessed...

As bad as I feel, as much as I wanted them to win...they have to "have amnesia", "snap and clear" and suit up, do it all over again tomorrow.

Let's put the players first for a change. Do you think Hunter Martin is happy? Is Andrew Lee happy? Do you think Vincent Jackson is happy? Do you think Taylor Smart is happy, Stewart, or Price?

Fair points, well made as ever 66. I just get disgusted with the people who only show up when things don't go right. The diamond Vols played hard tonight. Great thing about baseball, there's another game tomorrow with different pitching matchups. This team has bounced back from series opening losses all year. As Tug McGraw said, "you gotta believe."........but just in case, I hope UK and LSU complete weekend sweeps of UGA and Auburn!!

Here's the problem: We've blown game after game late in SEC play. We'd be a lock in the NCAA, and here we are looking at not going. Won 3 series in league play. This is a good team, but the relief pitching hasn't been great. They haven't figured out how to play clutch baseball.

To be honest, there are only four pitchers who have been competitive at the SEC level this season. And, only two of those (Williams and Cox) would pitch on the weekend for any of SEC the teams who will be in Hoover next week.
