They immediately bring up Denmark/Sweden/Norway, which interestingly enough aren't the best representations of socialism. Even politicians in those countries have mentioned this. Scandinavian countries have very high tax rates and very large welfare states, which certainly are elements of socialism, but other than that it is actually fairly easy to do business. They are not regulated to death and business is allowed to function fairly freely; they've been rather aggressively privatizing many corporations that used to be state-owned.
True socialists should love the high taxes in Scandinavia, but they'd actually hate the business climate there if they bothered to look into it. Once you get past the high taxes (which, admittedly, is a big thing to just "get past") a socialist would be like "Wait, you mean stuff is privately owned and for profit here?"
