Softball schedule released

"This is the most ambitious schedule we have ever undertaken," co-head coach Ralph Weekly said. "Seventeen future opponents appeared in the NCAA Regionals last year. This year's opponents also include teams who have a combined 96 appearances in the Women's College World Series and 18 national championships.

"We have always believed you have to play the best to prepare yourself for May and hopefully June."

I noticed that, too.

I'm disappointed they aren't participating in the Mary Nutter classic in Cathedral City. I was planning on attending it. I may go to Tempe and see their first six games. This should be a very good softball team for the next few years.

Is Cathedral City the one where they have all the fields modeled after ball parks like yankee stadium, wrigley etc?
