We need to keep winning while those teams above us lose a couple and we'll be fine. We can't afford to lose to anybody other than Missouri that is left on our schedule.

This is RPI. It factors in your opponent's winning percentage. Even if the ladies keep winning, the RPI is likely to go down because of the weaker competition left on thew schedule. I wish they would have gone to some of the better spring tourneys and play better non-conference competition.

They play in the best pre-season tourney in the country every year in california :hi:

I understand, but how is that they only played 2 ranked teams before SEC play started? I guess I just hope to see them play a few more Pac-12 teams other than UCLA.

Califladyvolfan do you recognize this signature?

Sure do....

Melissa is always willing to sign a ball, a visor or T Shirt or take a picture with a young fan.... is part of her giving back to the softball community which I have strongly supported. She is a good Kid!

If you need anything signed... I've been known to ship across country to a stranger or two...

Pictures from last year's college world series... Melissa represented UT well.

Go Vols!

They committed to play in tournaments that had good fields, just didn't draw a lot of opponents that ended up being good.

Oklahoma State game was canceled in Utah, the tourney that both were at in California declined to make a field available to them to make it up. UT scheduled the non-conference game against Kentucky to make up for it. UK was in the top 20 at the time.

That's cool. I just worry that their RPI will end up being 10 or 11 and they'll miss out on hosting a Super Regional. And with such a good record in a tough conference it seems like it's the OOC schedule that must be dragging them down.

Thank you for the offer. Your daughter is a class act and signed my 9 year olds ball with a big smile. I know you must be proud...
