Yeah that's what Jesus said..."hey make as much money as you can because that's all that matters in life!"

Err, no, wait...that's not right. Oh yeah..."Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal"

Or how about James who says " Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming on you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire."

Funny how many seem to completely ignore that part of the Bible and yet claim to be Christians. Money is most certainly not everything. :nono:

Don't most Christians ignore the parts of the Bible that doesn't agree with their opinions? Hence over 400 'Christian' denominations......Money certainly isn't everything; but doing good with what you do have is noted as well. Forgive my Catholic upbringing and not having the Bible memorized, therefore I cannot quote the book, chapter, and verse.

GBO!

I turned down more money from an Aubbie just to ensure a Vol fan got them. Sorry Barn, Go Big Orange!

How did you "ensure" it was a Vol fan. A smart Auburn fan (I know... oxymoron) would just pretend to be a Vol fan in order to buy at a better price.

Ha. I think you need to read my profile with a bit more comprehension my man. I've never claimed to be a Christian, and I most certainly never quoted Jesus in my response. Thanks for the Sunday School lesson though.

Probably a Barn fan acting as a Vol fan hoping to get a deal and then shows up in Barn gear. Seen it happen to a friend of mine that sets across of me and sold his tickets to a so called Vol fan that was actually a Gator fan.

If Jesus wanted to be involved in this conversation, I'm sure he could post for himself. Please save the preaching for church.

The day you learn that there are some things in life more important than money is the day you truly begin to live.

The most important thing in life is your family. It takes money to support them, and when you have very little, every dollar means that much more. That's what the world has become. This isn't yesteryear when neighbors would open their hearts and help you out. Yes, there are still good people in the world, but most have very little to give themselves.

Hep = true fan

I only find this funny because OP sold his tickets and isn't going to the game. Odd to say that makes him a "true" fan. And no, I'm not questioning his fanhood, but if you fail to see the irony in the statement, it's your loss.

I would have sold the tickets at a premium to an Auburn fan or given a discount to another Vols fan. But not everyone has their priorities straight. :p

The people that sit around us and us have an agreement to never sell to an opposing fan.. we'll burn out tickets first and if we aren't there for a game, no seat hopping allowed! If we ever sold to a Tennessee fan, we'd walk them to the gate to make sure they didn't sell to an opposing fan and chance that fan acting an azz and causing that to fall back on us.. and people complain about all the opposing fans getting tickets, don't sell to them...... grrrrrrrrrrrrr:no::mad:

So I guess weezer doesn't have a sarcasm meter? I thought it was obvious with will the true fan talk going around as of late. Maybe if you got your white wig out of your eyes and came down off your high horse you could see that.
