We have got to find one shut down corner. We can’t defend both sides of the field all the time. I am also hoping Tank transfers out. I appreciate him being VFL but he was terrible last night. Didn’t cover or tackle well at all. I thought Slaughter played better last night. Maybe he will develop into a shutdown cornerWith Beastley (mispelled on purpose), Herring, freshmen and transfers I think our LB core will be pretty good next year. I'm thinking the BYU kid is gonna make a real impact for us. Safety and Corner is what worries me.

I have no doubts that the secondary is about to go all out this offseason in preparation. Players and coaches alike. And with what I’ve witnessed so far with this team and culture; we will see a drastically different secondary next season. I really believe that. With Beastley (mispelled on purpose), Herring, freshmen and transfers I think our LB core will be pretty good next year. Banks leaving is good riddance! This young man has been given too many chances and then he turned his back on the team. What a great example of a team player. I’m sure some other young man would have valued his full scholarship a bit more than Banks did. Good luck in life you f’ing QUITTER!Glad he got to go out on a high note and was a big contributor. Hats off to him and the entire defense. The way those guys played last night, can honestly say Banks being out went pretty much unnoticed.
