1. Does Cromp have the talent to play well enough to win in Arkville? Yes, he already did well againts a better d, LSU.

2.How many yards will Mcfadden run for? I expect about 140 yards, but I hope not.

3.How many yards will Coker run for? I cant tell because we have stopped running the ball. LETS GET OUR RUN GAME BACK. RUN THE DAMN BALL MORE :twocents:

4.Will we load the box to stop the run and get burned long? Hopefully not but we must contain Mcfadden so I say load it up and good luck secondary.

Logic tells me that we should be in for a tough time Saturday night........superstar QB hurt, on the road against a hot team, whose strong point(running game) should dominant our weakest line(stopping the run), etc.

However, my gut feeling is that we win this game! Fulmer is best when backed against the wall. We have some good leaders on this team....... Sears, Meachem. Mitchell, Hefney. We haven't played a total complete four quarter offensive and defensive game since the Cal. game.
It's time, Baby!!

PS, I've noticed that LIO has been subdued on this board this year in the days leading up to the football games, compared to last year. Hope she is well 'cause we need her enthusism and optimism!!

I think some of the over confidence on Arkansas will effect something in this game. I could be wrong, but they are up on cloud nine right now and they have earned it. But I would like to put them on cloud 1

I doubt they are overconfident. They know that UT is the powerhouse. They really want to beat us. If we win, it won't be because the Hogs didn't give their best effort.

I was just makin a suggestion, I mean we have the almost prefect upset formula right now. (We just lost)*(Freshaman Quarterback)*(underdogs)=win. And if some look at my math and shrug thats fine was never my strong suit anyway

Losing to a team that was ranked all year this this weekend, is still picked to beat us by half ESPN commentators (not vegas boys), and has had better recruiting classes than us for the past 30 years will NOT send us to cloud 1, maybe 7

I dont think talent is the question. The better question is does he have the confidence and poise to win on his first road start against a quality team.

I seriously wouldn't worry about (or hope for rather) Arkansas being over confident about beating UT, There is no overlooking you guys, who are we going to look to? Mississippi State?

MSU might give you a tighter game than you'd expect. That's why they're called trap games. Their strength is run defense, perfect match for Arky's forte. :)

Considering all games, yes. However, if you look at what they've done against SEC teams. They're #3 in the SEC in run defense.

The 6 games they've played saw their opponent Avg. 32.5 rushes with a 3.1 avg.

And just for giggles. 195 Rushing Carries and 182 Passes against MSU.

1.Sure he has the talent, but composure is something entirely different. Hopefully he wont get rattled in hostile territory.
2. I think McFadden will have a good game. The way our line has been suspect at times this year, they will do good to hold him under 100.
3. I'm glad your not the coach. Have you seen our rushing game the last few games? Why run the ball over and over when it's obviously not working? With Coker in there, however, we seem to do a little better in the rushing department. How many rushing yards he gets tonight really depends on how much he will play as Hardesty has gotten the nod to start.
4. We should do this some i the game, but not every single play. It really depends on what secondary shows up tonight. Hopefully it won't be the one that played last week. I say we load the box early, and then see how well our secondary is playing, and then go from there.
