Some Lady Vol Love

I just thought I would give some recognition and appreciation to the Tennessee Women's Athletic Programs. Our Womens Athletic Program is one of the very elite in the entire country.

Lady Vols:

Basketball: Greatest program of all-time and Top 5 this year

Softball: Ranked #4 in the country

Volleyball: Ranked #9 in the country

Track and Field: Ranked #1 in the country

Swimming: Ranked #22 in the country

Cross Country: Finished #21 in the NCAA Championships

Golf: Ranked #11 in the country

Soccer: Finished ranked #10 in the country

Rowing: One of the best in the country

Tennis: Ranked #21 in the country

As you can see, the ladies represent the University of Tennessee very well and I just thought I would try to make that known and show them a little love.

Wow you know abosolutly nothing Don! Its title IX that you are talking about! It's funny you mention that cause the lady vols softball team facility is horrible right now compared to the mens baseball stadium.

Its being upgraded as part of the Step-Up program though thank goodness!!

Also what have the Vol guys done in recent years? Besides the football team!! The mens Bball was out drawn again by the lady vols!!

Man, that softball field looks worse than some of the little league fields in my area. Give those girls a decent stadium to play in.

I don't see anything wrong with the softball stadium. There is plenty of grass out there for those cows to chew on.

As for the LVs outdrawing the men in basketball, can't you get ticekts to those games for free with the purchase of a candy bar at the local Pilot Fuel Centers?

Believe me, it's funny. Ask donsargegolf. I am kidding, but get real. A new softball stadium??? Do the overwhelming crowds require more seating? I bet if you were to take a look around the country at other softball facilities, ours would rank near the top. The facility isn't more than 8 or 10 years old and is probably one of the newest facilities on campus.
