Let’s do our part Volnation, we need to let coach T know how much he’s appreciated here. Lots of schools are going to go after him. This team of basevols is an awesome group of hard nosed, never quit players. No superstars, just a good coached bunch. GO VOLS BEAT THE HELL OUT OF THOSE GATORS 🐊.

Nobody had revenue coming in during Covid, so it's about what's in reserve and how your boosters are doing financially and how important baseball is to a booster. I think we have to pony up on facilities regardless if we want to compete in the SEC long term. We didn't do it for Delmonico and paid the price. Depends on what UT wants to be. I'd think they'd want to promote the goodwill that comes with a winning program that's not going to bring in a ton of revenue but is winning the right way. Lady Vols comes to mind. Lot's of Tennessee kids on SEC rosters. We are a baseball rich state in terms of talent.

The future can look a lot like the past, or we can have a future of a revenue neutral, championship quality baseball program with a nice facility in an upgraded LNS. The problem is the money needs to be dedicated now, just as you say, just as money is tight everywhere because of the pandemic. Tough waters for AD White to negotiate. Let'shope he can pull it off.

Can't hang our hat on just football anymore. We need to look at all sports. IMO.

Like those Lady Vol NC banners we hang in Thompson Bowling. Very little revenue involved there. I agree. It's a goodwill statement to do what we need to do for baseball. Only 2 revenue producing sports and Title IX waters to navigate.

Yep I agree with little revenue. Multiple strong sports teams can't hurt the perception of a schools athletics program health.
