Good for LMU i live ten minuets from school and i was a walk on twenty five years ago. When at that time i was confident that LMU team would have gave the vols a good game if not beat them.
But i have not went to an LMU game in the last twenty years. The gym was so small at lmu at times like the annual carson newman game it was standing room only and was so packed that if you had a seat you would not dare leave your seat to get a drink or to go to the bathroom or anything.People were stacked like sardines.Several years back they built a beautiful gym with no bleachers and a few thousand backed seats.I am for sure going to go to a game now.

If he averaged more points than our lowest assistant we'll take him. but we've gotta keep the stat of "most points scored by a coaching staff in America."

who do you get rid of ?

I imagine Tracy Webster won't be around very long, the guys has been somewhat of a journeyman; coaching for nebraska, UK, Ball State, Depaul, Purdue, Illinois and now Tennessee all in the last 10 years.

I certainly don't advocate dumping anyone off the current staff, but if a vacancy did arise then this guys should get an interview at the very least. I am from Cumberland Gap and have followed LMU basketball my whole life an what he has been able to do there in this short of time is almost jaw dropping

"Schertz, who was named LMU's head coach on March 22, 2008, inherited a team that had won only one conference game, and had posted just seven winning seasons at the NCAA level before his arrival."

read the above and then realize first that the SAC isn't even a top conference and now they are on the verge of finishing consecutive seasons as a top 5 team
