I’m sure it’ll be pointless but hell maybe we can spread it out there and save this sport. What I watched today was the most scripted thing I have ever seen, and I’m a fan of pro wrestling. Lol. In all honesty I’m not even mad at the result. We literally were not allowed to play an entire half. I’ve been sick and tired of these officials for years but today was the first time that fully convinced me there’s an inside job. I’m literally not interested in the greater college football picture anymore. Something has to give. Maybe we still “collapse” with proper officials. But I doubt it. There’s a reason CJH was undefeated when leading at half until this complete bogus ****. Let’s get some people fired please. GBO.

I have to agree with OP that college football is not worth watching if the referees are going to have this kind of unwarranted impact. One penalty on Bama is a farce and everyone knows it. So it is actually difficult to even get upset. Apathy will kill the sport if this continues.

Actually every game is graded and yes, the refs can be fined and/or punished. The fines/punishment are handled privately. These officials work normal 9-5 M-F jobs then fly/drive to their destination on Friday nights. SEC makes billions yet can’t have full-time refs. They need full-time refs.

Bad feeling in my gut 1st half when settled for FGs, have to knock them out and bury them.
