I ran across this article from April in the AJC.I didn't know that Georgia pulled his offer pretty much but wanted him to wait to see if they might take 3 safeties in this class. He must be pretty special to get an offer after his sophmore season. Also to pick Tennessee over Tech where his brother goes to school says alot about our school and coaching staff.I think we could have another Eric Berry type safety that Georgia let get away.I think he has a chance to be really special. We love to get our safeties from Ga.In the last 5 years we have gotten Eric Berry,Darren Myles Jr.,and now Brian Randolph.GBO!

Here is the article.

Berry type? Holy crap. Dude is solid. Berry was 3rd overall recruit as a db.

Randolph can play, but anyone who thinks he's in Berry's league should consider a brain transplant.

Thats where the word could comes in.Just was commenting on the fact that their two games were similar and that they are both hard hitting safeties from Georgia.

Comparing him to EB is a little premature, even considering where EB was ranked in HS (#3 overall). Randolph seems promising to me, but he isn't any EB, yet...

Potential potential that's where that word comes in.No one said he was the next coming of Eric Berry just that they had similar games.I'm sure he would have been higher ranked if he hadn't played with a shoulder injury all year last year. The year before is usually what the recruiting rankings are based off of.

If you stick so hard to your word could or potential, then you can just make it a blanket statement about every recruit being comparable to the best Vol ever at their respective positions.

I guess the word type is a blanket word too.If you go back to my original post i said Eric Berry type safety which means they have similar characteristics.

Rajion Neal is the next Jamal Lewis.

Book it.

And by that I mean they're both RBs from Ga.

This thread is starting like most every other thread on Volnation.Instead of having posts that actually have anything to do with the main subject of the thread they star dissecting other people's posts and ridicule their opinion, spelling or grammar. So when you go to read the thread you have to wade through 5 bs posts to get to one that has to do with the subject.

For the last time i said Brian Randolph is an ERIC BERRY TYPE SAFETY which means their games have similarities.I did not say he is the next Eric Berry.I wonder sometimes if some of these people on here speak the English language.

I didn't say anything about your grammar or usage. Magically, I actually said something about your actual post. It was a ridiculous comparison and I said so.

That's because there is nothing wrong with it but i guarantee you if there was you would have made sure to mention it.

I guess i said Darren Myles is an Eric Berry clone too since i used both of their names in a post.Even though i have said like 5 times since the opening post that i was not saying he was an Eric Berry clone only that their games had similarities and they both are from Georgia. You keep acting like i'm defending saying he is just like Eric Berry which i never said.

Dude...seriously?

The only reason the subject got changed is because YOU changed it.

You made a statement and then everyone disagreed and called it like they saw it. I don't see why you're pissed.

For the record, Eddrick Loften will come much closer to fitting in that hard hitting, ball hawking safety than Randolph.

The comparisons to Berry make me think about when I stated how Loften could be similar to Berry. Considering we just took Loften my question is what is yalls opinion on Randolph vs. Loften? Loften can lay the wood and has decent ball skills. Should become a very good saftey. Randolph is more of the complete package but what is yalls opinion between the two?

I'm not pissed but they are trying to put words in my mouth i never said.Just was saying he sounds like a great safety and if you will read the story his coach explains why he is not quite as highly rated as should be and what a great hitter he was and all around safety. And not everyone disagreed it's always the same 2 or 3 people on every post I make.Just them both being from Georgia and being hard hitting all around safeties reminded me of Eric Berry. That's all.Next time I will just post the link.I thought it was a message board where you shared your opinion.Geez!

Thanks for actually talking about the subject at hand.I think Randolph is not getting his due as a hard hitter because of the shoulder injury he had all last season.I think people are going to be pleasantly suprised.

Man, don't even sweat it. Nearly every thread on this site diverges into some version of this same old b.s. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone.
