I don't like when people compare two college teams to the NFL. That right there gives players the big head and we have seen what they can do.

College players have not proved ANYTHING and as far as I am concerned with the NFL. The announcers just need to SHUT UP and just call the game instead of giving us information we don't need or care about.

I believe he is referring to when one of the announcers said that watching SEC defenses is like watching NFL defenses. Something like that.

It's probably because . . . watching SEC defenses IS like watching NFL defenses.

Whatchu talking about Willis?

The announcers at a point in the game were comparing the two teams on the field to NFL teams. The speed of the game for the most part and how they close so quick to plug up running holes.

I personally think that when they do things like that when the players hear it they automatically think about where they will go in the draft when they come out and what they will have to accomplish to do that. Unforunatley not everyone will make millions in the NFL but the players who play AS A TEAM and not as individuals (Like T.O.) will be remembered in the fans hearts.

I just think that no one should be able to leave until after they graduate personally.

I doubt TO heard ESPN commentators say anything positive about him while he was playing for UTC.

It's a college . . . not a prison.

Who said anything about a prison?? I just think that since the NFL isn't going anywhere and not everyone knows how to play as a TEAM, that no one should be able to leave college early for the draft.

That's just my personal opinion though.

And when do I get a share for graduating and becoming a productive member of society and a credit to my school? They do get paid - if you'll just let me check my school loan papers, I'll tell you how much.

Pro Football - Sports - New York Times

Go look at the stats and see if Bledsoe is overrated....I know this is off topic, but before you say something like that you need to get your facts straight.

No need to check stats. I've seen him play. I've seen him blow games that his team should have won. He can't carry a team on his shoulders. He can only hope to not lose the game for them.

So would you put Peyton in there as well since he can't win the big game as well??

Peyton can't always win the big game. That is debatable. However, Bledsoe loses games that the Cowboys/Bills/Patriots/whoever would win if not for idiotic interceptions. Peyton Manning in high school would get the start for the Cowboys over Tony Romo. Bledsoe is terrible.

You're right; it's a school. They should either graduate or pay back the schollys.

so, if you are in college and get offered a great job before you graduate (theoretically) you should have to pay back the scholarship if you leave school? i dont think that's how it works my friend.
