a guy on another board related this story. I was wondering what Little Man was rated coming out.
The James Stewart story is particularly interesting to me.. I was told that Larry Lacewell, our D-Coordinator at the time, saw James Stewart on film while looking at a D-recuit, and told the rest of the staff, .... "I don't know why you're flying all over the country trying to find a running back because the best one I've seen is just a few miles up the road". Stewart was from Morristown and might not have even been offered if not for Lacewell. All Little Man did during his time here was become the Vols all-time leading rusher.
