Sooooo was last year Milton

After not wanting to blame him last year, today really solidified it for me. His playcalling so vanilla and i feel like he’s not seeing the things in the booth like Golesh did. He’s probably relaying the worst insights to Heupel before they call a play smh

Everybody has got this offense all figured out! This team is not disciplined! Hendon Hooker could beat you with his arm & legs! Nico missed on a lot of throws! He has to use his legs more! This defense was terrible! There is No Fire in this team!

Look at a number of plays Petrino called today. I would have them in EVERY game plan with a "new" QB, and DEFINITELY with a suspect OL. And a couple more...

The problem is the oline sucks and CJH doesn’t know how to coach around that flaw right now. Blatant truth
Not much you can do to coach around it though right? Outside of just running Nico and risking injury?

I think Nico picked up some bad habits from sitting behind Milton last season.

Yes, I hate to say it but Petrino out prepared the game plan, and then out coached Josh during the game.
I'm watching Cal vs Miami....I see some of the same things from Cal. Crossing patterns, quick slants/throws, etc.

I think there are just some issues with how we are teaching quarterbacks and other skill players in the passing game. I see underrated guys get thrust into action and ball out but in our offense that never seems to happen.

Sooooo was last year Milton or is our OC a problem after seeing the play calling today??
Both.
Just like this year.

Play calling did nothing to help us out. Just the same ole shtt over and over.

And there were absolutely big plays wasted because of a bad pass or drop or missed block
