Team-------W/L-------AP-------SOS-------SOR-------GC

UGA--------8-0--------1---------75----------5---------4

OSU--------8-0--------2---------52----------2---------2

UT----------8-0--------3---------19----------1---------1

UM---------8-0--------4---------79----------7---------5

This illustrates these metrics:
Strength of Schedule
Strength of Record
Game Control

I do not expect the USA Today Coaches or AP Polls to reflect this information. I do think the Playoff committee will. I expect to see a rare regular season #1 vs #2 in Athens on Saturday. I don't care where we are ranked today. Let's take care of business in Athens and then take a look. Go Vols!

Edit: Sorry about the formatting, I'm working on it.

The media/coaches admit they were wrong about Heupel and Tennessee, yea not in my lifetime.

We will be ranked Number 1 on Tuesday. Mark my words
If you told me 2 years ago we would be watching the Tennessee team we have today I would have told you I got some great beachfront property to sell you in South Dakota.

Former Committee chair Jeff Long described game control as "somewhat subjective" and an evaluation of how the game was played.

"The committee looks at the game, how the game was played, how close the game was played, whether there were lead changes back and forth, or whether a team was in control from the opening kickoff, or whether they gained control say in the second half and finished out the game," Long said.

So that is their subjective metric.

LOL. Would love to see LSU's "game control" number after their game against us. Can it have a negative value?

What number gets assigned for "we willingly handed the ball to the opponent in our own territory in the 1st quarter"?
