A George Soros-backed prosecutor in Virginia released on probation a violent repeat offender who went on to kill an elderly homeless woman—the third case of its kind in the jurisdiction this year.

Fairfax County commonwealth's attorney Steve Descano (D.) in October charged Chante Antonio Jones with assault and battery before releasing him on recognizance, slapping him with just a $212 fine and one-year period of supervised probation. Police on Monday arrested Jones for beating 63-year-old Michelle Huntley to death at a bus stop where she had taken shelter.

The brutal killing last week is just the latest instance in which bail reform and lightened sentencing by so-called criminal justice reform prosecutors have brought deadly consequences. The Washington Free Beacon reported that Descano's office dropped felony charges against a man who was later charged with killing two homeless men in Washington, D.C., and New York City in March. Two months before, another gunman, whom Descano had pleaded out on misdemeanors in 2020, killed an 18-year-old at a bus stop.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner

Gardner silent as time runs out on resignation ultimatum | ksdk.com

Missouri prosecutor asked to resign after Tennessee teen athlete loses legs in crash

"The Missouri attorney general called Wednesday for the resignation of St. Louis' elected prosecutor, after a motorist who repeatedly violated his bond conditions on earlier charges crashed and injured a teenage volleyball player from Tennessee, resulting in amputation of both of her legs."

"The case has renewed criticism of Democratic St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner amid questions about why the driver wasn't behind bars after court records showed more than 50 violations of bond conditions."

"Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican, said Gardner must step down by noon Thursday, or he'll try to remove her from office."

"Like many other rogue prosecutors around the country, she (Gardner) was swept into office by winning her 2016 election with a wave of money from George Soros and tech billionaire-funded entities, who again contributed heavily to help her win reelection in 2020."

Edit update:
Missouri AG fires Dem attorney Kim Gardner after she refuses to resign over public safety outcry

"Republican Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey fired embattled Democratic St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner on Thursday after she refused to resign following a weekend accident involving a repeat offender who was free despite several violations of his bond terms."

Judge Appointed in Missouri case to Remove Dem attorney Kim Gardner from office

Bailey believes he has evidence that Gardner made 'false, and misleading, and flat untrue' statements about her offices' handling of a prosecution case

The Missouri Supreme Court on Friday appointed Judge John P. Torbitzky of the Eastern District of Missouri Court of Appeals to adjudicate the legal action by state's attorney general to remove St. Louis circuit attorney Kim Gardner from her post because she neglected the duties of her office.

Attorney General Andrew Bailey on Thursday filed a petition quo warranto, which is the legal mechanism under state law that allows the attorney general to remove a prosecutor who neglects his or her duties. Bailey will have to show Judge Torbitzky that Gardner neglected her duties and should be removed, and the decision is up to Torbitzky.

George Soros wants a lawless society. Our country can either stand up and fight back against him, or be finished. He has his tentacles in everything.

Soros wants an authoritarian government ruling a society of serfs serving the ruling class. His method of getting to his goal is a lawless society that will end up begging for the iron fist.

It worked in Venezuela, and so much of what is going on right now is almost a direct copy of what happened there 20 years ago.

It's fascinating why that guy is bent on destroying all things American. Rule of law, 1st, 2nd amendments, voting rights. He feels can force the federal gov to create a federal police force that would not answer to the state or county.

The man assisted in the identification and murder of his own people. Nothing fascinating about people like he and Bill Gates. They’re just real life villains.

There is a trend with these DA's. They want a lawless society,

The U.S. has the highest incarceration rate of any country in the world. ((While the United States represents about 4.2 percent of the world's population, it houses around 20 percent of the world's prisoners.)) We also have some of the toughest sentencing in the world. Crime is a hardy perennial issue for conservatives/Republicans--been true for 50 years. It's the great fallback issue for a party that doesn't really want to tackle any other problems in America--doesn't want to deal with health care or health-care pricing, environmental issues, guns and gun violence, worker pay, etc. etc. But it will always complain about crime....a GOP cliché.

Just dumb, anyone who brings up global warming as an issue looses credibility. It's your party who has damaged healthcare, pricing etc..
