Sounds like a prima donna

So he is mad Tennessee wasn't giving him attention the week before National Signing Day?!

But he was committed for months, where we showed him love and brought him in for visits.

He even made comments like Neyland is best environment in college football and said just 3 weeks before signing day that he wasn't flipping. Maybe that's why the staff wasn't talking to him much. They probably thought he was a lock and were more focused on other top recruits like David Sanders and Isaiah Campbell.

Maybe if he indicated he was leaving the door open instead of committing and publically saying he wasn't flipping, maybe the staff would have prioritized him more.

And also the staff was preparing for the CFP, unlike Florida. How dumb and childish to then turn off your phone after the fact too. He is a kid, so its hard to be too hard on him, but he must have terrible counsel around him.

Dont turn him into an escape goat
@joevol33 oh chit
I think I get the gist of it from here without bothering with the story. He wanted more $$ than he was worth to us.

Semi-interesting fact (or maybe not): Escape goat is not wrong, based on the original biblical account. The word evolved into the current 'scapegoat'. One of two goats 'scaped.

"I went down there the same day after I decommitted, took my phone out and powered it off, I didn’t want to hear nothing. Because you wasn’t talking to me then, why you talking to me now? So I left it like that. And I’m at where I’m at now." I'm good that he's gone. Guess what? Being a Tennessee Volunteer means so much more than being anything else. It should be reserved for special people. He isn't.
