This has more to do with the trend. Pre lockdown to post lockdown, do you see a pattern?
If it’s a reference to how many new eateries were shut down during that time I can tell you I see 14-15 businesses just on my way to work that shut down in the last 2 years here. They haven’t reopened.
The covid response killed the economy. I think a few predicted this would happen in blue counties that went all kamakazi on lock downs.

Come on PJ. This reflects the migration trends from liberal cities.

I love when you play dumb.
So which is it - migration or covid response? Just posting data with no link or explanation is useless

Tampa was open while NYC was closed so it makes sense one goes up and the other down.

People wouldn’t go out to eat 25*% more without population growth, nor would people only eat out half as often. I might accept a 15% change of habit due to CoVid but not 25%
There are groups like Tennessee Holler that were formed by far left liberals that moved to TN and have the financial backing of Hollywood. Nashville is quickly turning into Austin, Texas junior.

You do understand that @NurseGoodVol comment and mine are correlated right?

NYC restaurants are still closed? 5/19/21 was full capacity. Outdoor dining was allowed starting in June or august 2020.

Downtown Nashville isn't Austin, Jr., it's TGI Fridays on steroids. "Whhhhoooo-Whhhhooooo, pedal tavern!"

Downtown isn’t, but the suburbs are increasingly similar to Austin’s. Many of the libs have moved into the Franklin area.

But were closed for quite a while. If this is net over the pandemic then it's completely understandable. Again, there are just numbers with no context which is worthless

If you think Franklin is liberal and comparable to Austin, you probably need to rethink your worldview.
Franklin is going through a major shift, and will be blue in the next 10 years. If you aren’t aware of that, you aren’t paying attention to what’s going on there. It’s been the subject of national news stories for the past few years as one of the top destinations for Californians moving to new areas.

I guess that can be true, as long as you don’t pay attention to any net migration statistics that have been posted here and all over the internet. Seems almost impossible.

Also, there is no way the numbers are over the pandemic. Restaurants in nyc would be near bankruptcy if this was compared to operations during covid.

I bet my increase was more than 25% but that's just me. Almost all take out

Thanks for the depressing reminder.

Williamson County 2022 election results | The Tennessean

Looks like a hotbed of liberal infiltration.

I hear almost all the country stars are now “woke” and they’ve commenced to change the music to reflect their ideology with heavy doses of rap and hip-hop added with “Fake Country” Dolly leading the charge.

This is very distressing. Is Fake Country Dolly doing a lot of rap influenced stuff right now? Does this mean we won't get anymore songs about driving the tractor to the creek to make out with a girl while laying on top of an American flag?
