Good for SC. To take your program to the next level, you need to spend money like the teams at the next level spend.

As much as I try to hate 'em...I just can't hate SC. I always enjoy watching them play and root for them except when they play UT.

So no Spurrier to 'bama... that leaves egg on the face of many tide faithful.
I love it no one wants the Bama job. Spurrier used the Miami and Bama jobs to get leverage on getting a pay raise. The man is slick....His record in two years at USC is 14-10.

Sounds like he flirted with Bama to solidify his current deal.

He never was going to leave South Carolina. He is building somthing here. Im glad I have a front row seat. He is really a special coach. Have you noticed the recruiting class he is putting together this year....top 10. ON OUR WAY.

You did by any chance catch the Colin Cowherd Show on ESPN radio yesterday? He was ripping Bama for trying to get Spurrier then he started ripping Spurrier on how he wasnt an elite coach and how every has caught up to him and how he isnt a great recruiter:dunno:

I am sure Phil is quite glad that Spurrier will continue to rot at a school with inferior talent rather than go to Bama where he would have a shot to win the SEC.

Are you talking about Steve Spurrier or did I just hit the wrong button and read a post about Lou Holtz from 2000?
