I like the sound of "pizzaz" being added to the uniforms, as long as it's not a garnet and black flame down the pant legs.

I don't know, after Tennessee's opponents had heart failure from the double stripe down the pant legs last year, it may be a good thing after all.

I have been to the stadium for it and it has been one of my more forgetable college football experiences. Ranks right up their with all of Vandy's traditions....

Yo, I got respect for the program and for Spurrier. But that entrance is seriously stupid. It'd probably better if you guys went Pac-10 style like out here, teams just come out, hit the sidelines and play some football.

Don't you understand? Just taking the field and jogging to the sideline is so anti-climactic.

South Carolina football has always been like my golf game. It's not very good, so you have to dress it up so it looks like you know what the heck you
re doing.

I guess even Carl Spackler is beyond hope.

p.s. The next person to compare anything about Carolina to Vandy, I don't care if they're talking about the trough in the men's rooms of the stadiums, I think I am going to scream. Please. Slice me off a King Size BREAK!!! Don't compare any school to one that puts their football team under the same classification as the intramurals.:no:

the 2001 thing is not real exciting...i've been, and i still think the same thing...un original.

it's great for Flair. not great for college football. College football is about pagentry etc...having a great band and a great entrance with the band is just cool.

no one ever talks about 2001....when they speak about traditions....you hear about dotting hte i, running thru the T, howard's rock (i know you love that one right? lol)....

to the unbiased fan, i would dare say that anyone would consider SC's opening better than that of TN's or a number of other SEC schools...
