To beat USC only gives FSU some illusion that you are on the big stage, but you could not sustain the level of play USC needs to sustain.

PS: when was the last time the SEC has lost the Peach (Chik-Fil-A?) And the SEC team is usually a few notches lower than the ACC representative.

Face it: We disgraced the SEC (and ourselves) by losing to FSU."

Looked like every SC team Spurrier has put on the field in the last three years. Fast start...limp to the finish. You'd think that SC fans would recognize it by now.

Peach Bowl is a tough match up for the SEC. Usually the SEC 4 or 5 vs the ACC 2.

Down year for the SEC as a conference. Par for the course regarding USCe.

But if the SEC is truly the toughest conference (Which I fully believe it is and will argue with a wall to prove it) and the ACC, top to bottom is one of the weaker conferences in the nation (which again, it is) then a SEC 4 vs ACC 2 should be a fairly even match up.

Look at some of the previous match ups. Va Tech vs Tenn, Miami vs LSU, Miami vs Florida, Georgia vs Va Tech, Auburn vs Clemson.....just looking at the teams....there is a lot of "toss ups" in there.

I dont even think destroyed was a good word for it. But going into that game, how many people would have thought that LSU would have done that to a team that was just a few years removed from the National Championship

This. They think they are better than what they are. Yea they won the sec east in an extremely down year but overall it ended up being their best mediocre year. Their fans say the same thing every year, wait until next year. They don't realize everybody will be better next year & they will be the same.

nothing surprising here. south carolina's fanbase is home to some of the most delusional football fans in the southeastern conference.
