South Carolina just dethroned Missouri in overtime!

They do not have a lot of momentum going into next game, a close loss like that can be demotivating, a drawn out game like that can also be demotivating, etc etc...

You don't think getting beat 45-10 by your biggest rival is demotivating?

Still I think we win.

USCjr will definitely be rooting for us on this one.

I kinda feel the same way, but I'm glad their loss came from someone we already beat!

i will be rooting for us too :) i felt mizzou and auburn would be a split for us before the season and that is still where i am at although it will take a very solid performance all around to beat either one of them as they are better than i anticipated

This game would not have been as close without the tough breaks by USCjr during first half and if they had played Shaw the entire game.

S Carolina dominated time of pos, total yards, 1st downs (28 to 16).

I think Mizzou is very beatable. Little less to play for. Very difficult to compare the USCjr vs Mizzou game to our game against #1 legitimate team in the country in their house.

Or they could be desperate to win, so they do not get passed by SC. Or we win out, UGA beats Gators, Gators beat SC and TAM beats Missouri Burn bets UGA. Then who wins it? 5 way tie.

Ray Finkle anyone?

The laces were in!! They were IIINNN!

Yeah, would have liked to beat them while they were still undefeated but still had to laugh at that ending.

Kinda ironic their coach chose to play for OT instead of going for the win with plenty of time and TO's. I seem to remember a certain UT coach doing the exact same thing against them last year and losing.

As far as I understand it USC other QB (Thompson?) was laying eggs in the first half. Turn over king

Missouri will be a tough team to beat, but if we play well enough we can win another game against a top 25 team.

It would have been nice to beat a top ten team, but I just can't stand the thought of Mizzou winning the east. They will still be ranked, so it should be a big win for us either way. Two ranked teams in the same season? That would be a nice B-day present for me. Hope the Vols pull it off. GBO!
