Oh yeah, definitely no dethrone. Wasn't arguing that. They "still control their own destiny", but USC made it harder for them to win the east with those other games coming up.

It also brings Mizzou back down to earth, and shakes their confidence, somewhat. I remember when we would beat the Gators, earlier in the year, it would give us a ton of momentum the rest of the season. But losing to them had the reverse effect. It was a gut punch that took a few games to recover from, if at all. Under Dooley, we never did.
