They just had on sports south here a preview to SC football, not sure if anyone else was able to see it or if it was just on because I live in SC. Anyways, I thought you guys might like to hear what they said:

1. Last year SC didn't win SEC games at home, but this year it is reversed, they will win those and will just have to worry about their SEC road games: UGA, Tenn, LSU, and Arky.
2. Each SEC team has problems in different areas of their team, but SC has the least amount of problems which is why SC has the highest chance of winning the SEC East.

I realize this was a SC biased program, but really???

I've thought all along that USC has a better shot at the east than most give them credit for.

I think USC will hand out some upsets, but to win the SEC east I am quite doubtful of. They also mentioned that their 5th year QB Mitchell had a low completion rating in their spring game he was like 13 out of 39, and if SC is going to win the SEC he has to better than that and actually stay in the games this year.

I wouldn't doubt if someone said Vandy is going to win the east. I have heard Kentucky,USC,FLA,TN.

Ainge didn't have a great rating in spring either. No team is going undefeated in the east. The winner could easily have 2 losses.

I understand that SEC is tough football, but to say everyone has a chance is just stupid. I'm not trying to be biased but the east is ours for the taking. Florida is going to lose to USC, VOLS, and GA. I honestly think our toughest game out of the east is going to be the Bulldogs this year. I think Florida plays us close.

WRONG. Your toughest game and the loss you will have the hardest time swallowing will be South Carolina. Gamecocks win.:dance2:

Blake Mitchell has the highest completion ratio than any returning SEC qb.........I think that continues.:pepper:

2006 completion percentage for Blake Mitchell = 66.8%
2006 completion percentage for Erik Ainge = 67.0%

Thank you for playing.:hi:

South Carolina has the best all around full team in the SECE, but none of their players are the best at their position. Their talent is a little too low, and can be outclassed by teams with more starpower IMO. Plus their schedule is too nasty. They aren't really known as a road team.

Call SCE&G. You have a gas leak. A bad one.

Get everyone out of your house. Stand outside until I send you another post.

i'll say this about SC......eventually they will start winning some of those close games. they had opportunities to win 4 games last year that they didn't.......FL, TN, Aub and GA........

and i do agree that htey have the least questions coming back. the question is can Blake Mitchell be the guy all year long and can they replace SR at WR.....

i think defensively they will be good. I like cory boyd as a RB, and they do have spurrier.

this year may be as good as it gets for SC to win the East. with all of us having questions coming in, the only thing that really is in their way are two things:
1. Brutal road schedule
2. they are SC and have never sniffed a championship...

I totally agree with the inferiority complex. I wonder if Spurrier can get his kids in here and get past that. There Some of Holtz's old guard is still here. The kids Spurrier recruits seem to be a different type of player, both skill wise and attitude. I think changing the culture will be as much with the fans as with the program itself.
