Five players is a big suspension, obviously. But clearly no one cares about the NIT anyway. Just ask LSU.

I guess the real question is would Martin have suspended them had they made the NCAA? :)

TeMarcus Blanton, Eric Cobb, Jamall Gregory, Chris Silva and Marcus Stroman were the five players suspended for what was called a “conduct issue.”

Well, that is odd because LSU did the same thing just before the TAMU game. ;)

I wondered if they might have done something after being "snubbed" from the tourney. Lol.

Dang. How you gonna play High Point without those 5 critical pieces.

UT would've struggled against those guys...they lost to UGA and NC State by only 3 points each...neither powerhouses this year, but the VOLS may well have been embarrassed by High Point...heck, at least they were asked to play in the NIT...where's UT's invite?

Well we beat SC and they couldn't with 5 of their guys missing, so....

Also they got an NIT bid because they had to get one. They finished first in their one bid league but lost the conference tournament.
