What purpose does it serve for you to be here? We have much better people filling the role of "Kentucky Emissary" already. You're just a loser who getting a sense of superiority vicariously from an amateur sports team.

Thing most people do not realize, is that Downey can score 20-25 over the course of the game, and we still win by 15 or 20. You just can't let him "take the game over", because he is basically their only real scoring option. Don't turn the ball over, and win the rebounding battle decisively like we should, and its a done deal.

Is a thread really necessary? Kentucky should destroy this team easily just like they should have the first time. How Kentucky lost the first matchup while starting Patterson and Cousins against South Carolina's frontcourt is beyond me.

I don't know. Was a thread necessary when you guys got drummed by USC out in Cali? If you think its not neccessary, perhaps you shouldn't come in..... Just sayin'.


On the game notes, Orton is a great defensive player, but his low post moves need so much work.

Downey has 2 fouls. Thats huge.

You need to read the rule book. Your arm can make contact with the person as you go around them. If you hook them and physically MOVE them, its a foul. You never see the defender move that often. He doesn't use the hook to "create" the spin, he spins and then uses the arm to advance.

I'm not saying some of them aren't fouls, but officials aren't blind or stupid, there are reasons that it doesn't get called EVERY SINGLE TIME.

BS. You may be allowed 'contact', but if you're trying to tell me you're allowed to pin your defender down as long as they don't move, then I need to start playing college basketball NOW. That is a foul.

My post was more of a response to the troll. As for the rest of your post, this is a forum specifically for Tennessee Volunteer athletics discussion and that game was certainly a more even matchup than this, just saying.

The rest of my post consisted of my thoughts on both the previous meeting and the current meeting of these two teams.

As for the game so far, entertaining so far. I'm surprised USC has kept it close this long.
