Regardless of yesterday, and how it played out. Whether or not Tennessee just "got lucky" as some on here have tried their damnedest to say.. South Carolina would be a GREAT opportunity for us to get the signature win.

USCe has played close games with Vanderbilt, Kentucky and UCF. They've lost the only game with a good team they've played (Georgia).

We have two weeks to prepare for them.

They have their rival, Arkansas, coming up. And in my opinion, it'll take all USCe has to win that game.

When I think of how this game may turn out, I think back to Halloween 2009. Go Vols.

Yeah, the scary thing is, as good as I feel about the strides the team made last night, I now feel like South Carolina is kind of a must win, simply for the fact that it's probably Butch Jones' last chance to get a real signature win this year. I just hate the idea of going into another off-season with nothing more to hang our hats on than wins over unranked opponents and a "signature loss" against a good team.

Yes I think the SC game is prime for us to win. CBJ obviously knows what he is doing and with two weeks for preperation and rest, I think we can and should pull it off. I'm not going to get my hopes up but I think we have a chance, especially considering the way they played against UK and UCF. We have to trust Worley and let him stretch the field and keep our defense off the field like we did in the second half.

I think the team and the fans should enter that game fully expecting to win. It's time to break through and get the monkey off our back in terms of these losses to top SEC and top 25 teams.

Since BJ is a proven winner, I dont think he has to have a "signature win" this year. We will have plenty of signature wins in the next few years IMO.

Only thing that could hold us back is the emotions coming off that demoralizing loss to Georgia. But I think Butch has what it takes to move past that.

I think USCe is a prime candidate for us to win decisively. They have been struggling and squeaking out their wins....a pattern that is leading them in the wrong direction.

If we make it to a bowl game I'll be ecstatic to hang my hat on that!:peace2:

I'm going to this game for the first time in a couple of years. Where should I buy tickets for the game? Where is the student section on the seating chart? Where are the opposing teams sections? Thanks.

Arkansas isn't really their rival...

Their SEC West signature game is Arkansas, like ours is Alabama, Georgia's is Auburn, etc. So yes, it is a rivalry.

No it's their yearly cross-divisional opponent.

Neither Arkansas nor South Carolina view each other as rivals...at all. That's partly why they're swapping next season and Missouri will start playing Arkansas while South Carolina will start playing A&M.

While UT-Bama, UGA-Auburn, and Vandy-Ole Miss are all based off of existing rivalries, a lot of the rest of the cross-division games are not.

We will win. Clowney is unmotivated this year, Tiny will have his lunch.

Tiny mentioned by ESPN as one of a handful of guys that handled Clowney 1 on 1 last season.
Clowney will be a non-factor.
UT wins this one at home.

Yep last year Clowney was an animal and with the exception of one play Tiny owned him. This year it won't be close in that matchup.
