That game (as AWSOME as it was) was the worst thing that coulda happened to this fan base!!! After that one outstanding performance of our beloved VOLS this fan base's expectations went through the roof!!! Don't get me wrong I think and want to win every week but reality is reality! And these so called fans can't handle it!!! Butch Jones is doing a outstanding job and he and team 117 and teams to come have my full support!!!

The "Expectation Monster" is strong with Butch... This fan base is so hungry, it might devour it's self !!!

Funny, I don't remember anyone on here calling Butch a terrible coach for getting blown out by Dooley in 2011 due to a clear talent disparity. Yet the same thing happens when he is our coach and people are outraged and bailing left and right on the guy after 9 games.

The problem being the team has shown their potential and now are consistently failing to deliver on it. It's not so much the losses as it is their poor performance.

Butch is awesome. He's taking us in the right direction.

But to play devil's advocate here, the talent gap between Tennessee and Cincy was massive. The talent gap between Tennessee and Mizzou tonight was not nearly as wide. No coach or player had a good showing tonight, minus Palardy.

You're saying Missouri has a 28 point talent edge on us?

Bama only beat us by 7 more.

I'm not calling for CBJ head, or anybody on this staff. But at some point you have to admit there were some serious coaching and preparation issues that went on tonight.

So I guess you are saying that winning could be detrimental to college football programs? Then I say that we should start serving alcohol at Neyland. That way I could consume enough to blur my vision so I can not see the scoreboard. Drinking would probably blur my expectations also.

On the road with a true freshman QB. There is a reason they were ranked #9.

It definitely was a reality check tonight, but at least with the win over South Carolina, we only need 2 of the our last 3 to go bowling, and that in reality, should be our only expectation for this season.
