Tell you what Bashaara Graves better play the game of her life in a few minutes. She has a lot of making up to do if she wants to make it to the Final Four.

No way no how. South Carolina will have better guard play next season. You better believe that The Gamecocks are not going anywhere without coach Staley at the helm.

I wouldn't get to happy, the Lady Vols haven't beat Ohio State. That Syracuse press and 2-3 zone is no joke.

Not counting chickens yet... I still remember how we played vs Louisville after Griner and Baylor went down in the Sweet 16 that one year. If we have learned anything about Holly coached teams, it doesn't help them play any better to have a "paved road".

Having said that, I'm elated the Cocks lost.

Thinking about the same game, but couldn't remember the team. No way we should have lost to Louisville in the E8 that season.

Good Gawd. In the moment people, the LVs just went father than anyone expected going into the tourney and we a thread turned into another Holly bashing fest.

As for the road "being paved," that is just a silly view of the world. If a team is a good enough to beat SC, then they are a serious competition for the LVs. When Louisville beat the LVs after upsetting the Griner-led Baylor, it did mean that the LVs then lost to a cupcake; they got beat by the team that had just knocked off Baylor and who were flying high.

One game at a time, move on an advance. I hope the LVs get to their final four (Graves has paid her dues) but it will be a fight and a hard road.
