i think its safe to say the pirates are back. good luck, i know the chattanooga area are pulling for you guys. as well as signal mountain. baylor fell short on what some have said to be a couple of bad calls.
I used to drive up to Rudder's to get beer on Sundays! If you were big enough to put it up on the counter, they would sell it to you.
I will always love So Pittsburg for that.
Oh and Big Daddy's now is like heaven for me. (Even though I think its in Bridgeport)
Headline---TPS (Wig)falls to South Pittsburg. I was there. LP Beene called Jimmy "The biggest little man in the United States". Class of '70.

Wig was the best pound for pound player I've EVER seen and I've had the pleasure of seeing several, including J Majors. Phil Beene would not let Wig hit on defense in practice because he was afraid he would destroy his own team. Wig was about 5'5" and could stand flat footed and dunk a bb....just an unbelievable athlete and humble guy. For Phil Beene(who is in the TN Football Hall of Fame) to say that about someone is quite a complement...When he played as a senior at the Civitan Bowl in Nashville the opposing fans gave him a standing ovation at the end of the game. He was something to see! South Pitt rules!
