Shame, I was really excited to see Southern Miss roll UK to start the season. Hopefully they get a good coach and still beat them.

Maybe they've got a good guy in waiting on staff?

Were they playing well enough that they should have been rolling against 4-5 win teams?

They were finally recovering from a bad few years and finished 9-5 last year, 7-1 in their conference. I think they would've beaten UK fairly easily. Jmo but I don't know whether or not they return a lot of that team.
