Yeah, southern is tied with them 14-14. With a new coach, new qb, new defense. Southern miss jus proves 3 and a few 4 stars can play nose to nose with 4 and 5 stars. SMTTT!!

Btw its only 2nd qtr an nebraska may win by 30 but still

Looks like the Big 10 is struggling at the moment.

Northern Illinois beating Iowa 7-3

Wisconsin beating Northern Iowa 3-0

And this is game is 14-14 obviously.

TD nebraska. 21-14

Both defenses are looking horrible. Nebraska has no excuse going agaainst a QB with his first collegiate start. Southerns defense is out of shape, so much speed but just no stamina. This will be a high scoring game, if not i see nebraska D stepping up before southern miss' does.

Sucks usm plays 3 top 25 teams but at same time I think they got a good shot a loiusville and can hang with boise. They should win conference again. Did i mention they have the fastest guy in the ncaa on their team lol :)

Man, with burkhead out I think EJ is gonna get in usm Ds ear and they are gonna take advantage of it. If they can score on first possession of 2nd half and keep momentum on D they have a good shot.

Alford is just an absolute athlete. Should of been a 5*. Only thing is he is one look, then tuck and run. Needs to be patient and make a pass, all he wants to do is run.

Thanks to ABC, I have two channels with Miami vs BC. Is Johnson still running whacky Southern Miss-type stuff on defense? I know he was gonna run the same kind of offense.

Offense running is great. QBs are a huge question mark. Campbell can run and has strong arm, poor accuracy. Alford wants to run. Havent seen lloyd( not sure why)

D is in alot of 5-2. Not much blitzing. Guess they are still in 4-2-5 cant tell

It’s early. Gonna take a while to get more exotic stuff like he was running at USC.

Usm made nebraska D look AWFUL imo. They are undecided at QB. The run game was superb though. I like alford but dam he runs every single time. Once he adapts to passing more he will be very good. Im sure thats what they will work on these two weeks off. Campbell should be starter. He runs halfway good and has a beautiful technique, and tight spiral every pass.

Watching the replay right now. USM isn’t making NU’s defense look bad, NEBRASKA is making NU’s defense look bad. That’s some wide-open spaces in the secondary. Completely over-matched athletes are the key difference between the teams.

Also, this new kid looks like he has a ton of talent...but he is completely not ready to play. #13 is the way to go.
