Did it amaze anyone else, watching the Ducks Trojans game, how many times Oregon threw across the middle? And the most amazing part of the whole deal was Professor Monte never made an adjustment to stop it. Over and over again, down the field.

Oregon did the exact same thing to Tennessee.

That's what the ducks do.

Defenses bring up safeties that bite on the play action and that leaves the middle wide open.

You have to defend the ducks laterally. Most teams are north-south. The ducks stretch until they break contain and you watch James run untouched.

We had some success early getting in the back field with the front 4. When we did, we got some stops.

The team that beats the ducks will beat them up front.

This. Oh how soon some of us forget.

Yeah, but our talent level is absolute zero when you compare the UT defense to USC's... USC has a boatload of talent and they are getting very little out of it defensively.

Wait a minute, is this not the same place that claimed that Oregon would have a hard time against the "SEC athletes"?

I don't want to surprise anyone, but USC rebuilding as well.

But on to the bigger story here. Oregon is good. And their offense makes defenses look bad. Period.

So who out there can stop Oregon's offense. Auburn hasn't stopped many this year, just out-Camd them. Alabama has a stout D, but will they even get the chance, hope not.

If Bama beats Barn then they'll be right back in the mix. TCUs D is pretty tough and would give ducks some trouble. Plus Oregon still has a few more chances to screw up. Wouldn't surprise me if they lost a game.

How is USC rebuilding considering the sanctions have yet to affect the program?

I see Queefin has made his presence on another forum. BTW, the middle of the field was open all day vs. Hawaii too. It's Monte living and dying with his tampa 2, and people are eating the middle alive.
