Special Season

I am so grateful to be able to experience this journey. Fortunately, this season will stand out as a defining moment in VOLS history. We will never again experience the climb from mediocre to dominance in such a short period of time. And that is what makes this year so special. No matter how we finish the year, I am confident in the years following we will become NC contenders as Hep brings the 4&5 star players and develops a culture of winners. But it wont be the same as taking this rag-tag leftovers and turning them into a championship team. What a journey! What a story! Despite what we achieve in the future, this year will always be special. GBFO!!

Sometimes when something amazing happens, you just have to take a moment to enjoy it. Even if we go undefeated this year, other undefeated seasons will not feel as special as this one. Drink it in. Enjoy every moment.

I was 8 years old for 95 but I went to half of the games. (I had to switch off with my brother because my dad only had two season tickets). I loved watching Peyton manning play.

Historic. I've been a fan for 45 years and I can't recall being more excited. I love this team and this staff. I find myself watching Youtube highlights in my spare time.

. This season has exceeded everyone’s expectations, so win or lose, it’s been a fabulous year! 11-1 with a Sugar Bowl bid ain’t bad!!

Historic? Yes for UT football, but not only just for Tennessee, likely for all college football (that is if we continue on this path into football lore) history as I can remember no program that has come so far from so far back so fast. (unless it was Marshall after the plane crash)
