I was watching the video of the punt return guys catching. Looks like they are holding something in each hand while attempting to catch the ball. Anyone know what it is? And is this normal? Or something only a few teams do. I've personally never seen this practice tactic. I think its a great tool for learning to handle the ball cleanly.

Tennis balls. Teaches them proper technique instead of letting them use their hands. Everybody does it.

WRs practicing hand coordination try to catch footballs while holding other things. Like other footballs.

I heard from a friend of mine, that they were catching multiple balls at a time. Some guy caught 7 balls..................... he was proably a manager........but I think they make all of them catch multiples.

special teams can LOSE a game........or win one.

At the open practice, Jacob Carter caught his 7th football, while holding the other 6. It was very impressive. A few players later, I believe it was Devrin that matched him.
