I have seen quite a bit of discussion on all aspects of this season's team but not much on special teams play. We are horrid in that dept. and I know that some coaching changes were made but does anyone think that we are going to be any better? Our return game is dismal and our punts are shabby at best (from last year). I have seen a steady decline in this area. I know that the NCAA only allows so many hours of practice a week and some of these players have other areas to practice so what do you do? How can Beamer be so good at it? Any suggestions here?

Very good point. It was almost every play last year. We could really make up some points in that area.

Our special teams play was a big part of some of our losses last year. It was just horrible all around.

Like everything else, I look for it to improve because it really can't get much worse.

I would like to watch Tennessee field punts without having to look the other way until it's over.

Tennessee does not need to work on special teams.... we have coach cut. He is the cure all.
